Meet Sam and Liz — the family behind MechYield.
Sam is a hands-on husband, dad, and the experienced technician keeping everything running smoothly. He’s spent his life working with machinery and cars — on farms, in workshops, and everywhere in between — building the practical skills you only get by rolling up your sleeves. Along the way, he completed his motor mechanic apprenticeship, earned a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology, and holds a range of high-risk and heavy-vehicle licences. Around here the saying is, “Don’t worry, just call Sam,” because no matter what’s broken, stopped, or squeaking, he’ll usually have it sorted before you’ve finished explaining it.
Liz is an organised wife, mother, and the face behind the paperwork — the admin and business manager who keeps everything running smoothly. She’s skilled in parts management, client relations, invoicing, and scheduling, making sure every job flows from start to finish. Friendly and approachable, Liz is the person clients can rely on for clear communication and consistent support.
